I'm On My Way

...to having a complete pair of socks. I've got to say that I love this sock. The pattern is complicated enough to keep you interested, while not being overly complicated. The colors in the yarn make me smile. I have already begun the second sock and have knit about 1/4 of the leg. Although this is my own pattern and I certainly could have knit it any way I chose, I sort of wish that I would have gone with a heel flap rather than the short-row heel. It turned out nicely, so maybe once I finish both socks, I will have something better to say about short-row heels.
