I Won!

My blogger friend Andrea over at Life On Laffer has designed a lovely crocheted scarf and has been published in Interweave Crocet Accessories.  In celebration she, hosted a giveaway which included a copy of the magazine and two yummy hanks  of Malabrigo silky merino and 1 hank of Malabrigo baby merino wool.  I can no longer say that I never win anything.  I am very excited to crochet with this yarn because I have heard read only good things about it. 

I actually received my package last Friday, but with knit orders, divider orders, church activities, and kid activities, not to mention just trying to run a household, I have been pretty busy.  Although busy, no less grateful.  Thanks again Andrea!!

I just completed a local order for my dear friend Ivy.  I think everyone who has read this blog with any consistency knows who Ivy is.  I mention her often.  She is an "often"  part of my life.  Is that a valid sentence?  

 This outfit is for a little boy to be named Taylin.  I hope that his mother appreciates the gift of hand knits.

It was a bit challenging, but I think that I was able to match the onesie embellishment with the ribbon, which is what I usually endeavor to do.  More knitting to do!  Have a stupendous weekend!!
