So many of us begin the new year with thoughts of how to do things better than the year before. Sometimes it is just a time to renew some of the previous years' resolutions. I have never been in the habit of making resolutions per say, but I begin the new year with much anticipation. I anticipate that I will be a better person that I was last year...more loving, more kind, more forgiving. All of the attributes that should be associated with a Christian. And so, I put my best foot forward.
I tell many of the young ladies that are around me "If a task looks too big, just break it down. Deal with the now of it. The next hour of it. After a while, you look up and a whole day has gone by and you were doing that thing that seemed insurmountable. The day becomes a week, a week becomes a month, then a year has gone by. That is how I deal with life. I never look too far into the future. "So do not worry about tomorrow; for tomorrow will care for itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own. (Matthew 6:34)
Speaking of resolutions...A customer ordered an array of colored closet dividers. She organizes her closets by color. I think that is a very good idea. I organize my closet by the type of clothing. Short sleeved, long sleeved, etc.... How do you organize your closet? Seems like a good time for a give-away. On Sunday I received my ONE THOUSANDTH sale on Etsy. So let's celebrate!
The winner (only residents of the U.S. and Canda, please) will receive 10 closet dividers. To enter, please go to my Etsy shop and add me to your favorites. An additional entry will be made when you like me on facebook. Make sure to leave your contact information. Also, an additonal entry will be made when you tell me how you organize your closet. (by style, by seasons, by colors, etc...) GOOD LUCK!! The winner will be announced next Monday, January 23, 2012.
WELL!!!! I organize my closet by dresses, skirts, shirts, pants, jackets.
