Knitting Project Book Give-Away

For all of you who, like me, needed something other than a Wrigley's foil gum wrapper to jot down your knitting notes, I present to you a much needed knitting project book. It is approx 3 1/2" X 3 3/4", includes pages for the recipients measurements, pattern and project information, and lots more. There are pages for 6 different projects. I am sorry crocheters, this book is specific to knitting. I am working on one for crocheters, so stay on the look-out for it.
Since I will no longer use the heat transfer iron-on designs for the baby clothes, I took some of them and used them for the books. I especially like the owls. I also made some with "I heart knitting".

I also really like the birds. Depending on the response, I am thinking to make personalized the covers of some books as well.

Oh, I almost forgot. The meeting yesterday went well, I guess. Well for the store, not so well for me. She really liked everything....the yarn, the books, the bags, and the stitch makers. She takes a fair cut of the profits, so that was not a problem, but there are some other details in the contract that I don't agree with at all. That is why I went ahead and put yarn into the Etsy shop yesterday. Also, today I hope to list some of the books and some bags that are not bag/yarn combos.
Are all of those pictures blurry? Somebody let me know when you comment for the bag.
Okay, so here's the deal. The book shown at the top will be given away! All that you need to do is leave a comment telling me of the most nonsensical thing that you have written knitting notes on. I know that I am not the only one who was in a desperate situation and used a gum wrapper!
It doesn't matter what country that you live in. Go ahead and enter. Once again, all of you who follow this blog will be given an additional entry. The winner will be chosen on Monday, November 16, 2009. Please be sure to send me an e-mail (my e-mail info is on the side-bar) if your comment does not link to one so that I can inform you if you have won.
Have a wonderful day!

Winner!

The winner of the bag was selected by RANDOM.ORG which claims to be a true random number selector as opposed to others by which their selection may not truely be random. The minimum number was, one, of course with the maximum being 16 because those persons who follow this blog were given an additional entry. Without further ado, congratulations to:
SMUDPIE!
Please send me an e-mail with your address and I will get that out to you. I have my e-mail info in the side bar. I hope that you enjoy your new bag.
A big thank you to all of you who entered. There were a couple of stories that made me laugh out loud.
There will be another contest coming soon, so stay posted.
Have a great weekend.

Project Bag Give-Away!

As I stated yesterday, in celebration of new items to be added to my Etsy store, this bag is up for virtual grabs. It is 6 1/4 inches wide, has a depth of 7 inches (4 inches beyond the zipper), and has plenty of room for a small project and all of the accessories needed to make it. I added a coordinating giraffe print for the handle and bottom of the bag. The bag is reinforced with heavy interfacing and lined with black quilted fabric.

All that you need to do to enter is leave a short funny comment about your knitting/crocheting adventures and the winner will be selected by Random Number Generator. Also, those of you who follow this blog will be given an additional entry. The winner will be selected and notified next Friday, October 30, 2009.

*****The yarn and needles are not included :-)
*****Only applicable to residents of US and Canada
