Knitting Project Book Give-Away

For all of you who, like me, needed something other than a Wrigley's foil gum wrapper to jot down your knitting notes, I present to you a much needed knitting project book. It is approx 3 1/2" X 3 3/4", includes pages for the recipients measurements, pattern and project information, and lots more. There are pages for 6 different projects. I am sorry crocheters, this book is specific to knitting. I am working on one for crocheters, so stay on the look-out for it.
Since I will no longer use the heat transfer iron-on designs for the baby clothes, I took some of them and used them for the books. I especially like the owls. I also made some with "I heart knitting".

I also really like the birds. Depending on the response, I am thinking to make personalized the covers of some books as well.

Oh, I almost forgot. The meeting yesterday went well, I guess. Well for the store, not so well for me. She really liked everything....the yarn, the books, the bags, and the stitch makers. She takes a fair cut of the profits, so that was not a problem, but there are some other details in the contract that I don't agree with at all. That is why I went ahead and put yarn into the Etsy shop yesterday. Also, today I hope to list some of the books and some bags that are not bag/yarn combos.
Are all of those pictures blurry? Somebody let me know when you comment for the bag.
Okay, so here's the deal. The book shown at the top will be given away! All that you need to do is leave a comment telling me of the most nonsensical thing that you have written knitting notes on. I know that I am not the only one who was in a desperate situation and used a gum wrapper!
It doesn't matter what country that you live in. Go ahead and enter. Once again, all of you who follow this blog will be given an additional entry. The winner will be chosen on Monday, November 16, 2009. Please be sure to send me an e-mail (my e-mail info is on the side-bar) if your comment does not link to one so that I can inform you if you have won.
Have a wonderful day!

Project Bag/Yarn Combo

After I make a trip to the post office tomorrow and get the postage/shipping info, this bag will be listed in my Etsy shop along with all of it's goodies. As I stated last week, all bag/yarn combos purchased will come with a free gift. In this case, a matching mini journal will be included with the purchase.

The yarn has been painted to self-stripe with one-row repeats of each color. It was painted in a teal/olive/teal/olive/tan sequence.

This bag/yarn combo will come with free matching stitch markers. The yarn is also self-striping and painted in a red, pink, chartreuese, pink, yellow sequence.

I will be meeting with the owner of Sealed With A Kiss, which is a world reknowed yarn store in Guthrie, Oklahoma (we now have a new store here in OKC) to see about putting some of my hand painted yarn, project bags, and project books there. That meeting will be held on November 7. I will give an update later as to how that goes.

Also, by the end of this week, I will be putting some baby things in a local children's store. I am very grateful for people who can appreciate the money, time, and love that has gone into making these things and with no hesitation, they say "YES!" More details to come.

There are many things happening with which to keep me busy, and so I'm getting back to it!

Have a great day.

Free Gift

First of all, did you see that my post from August 6 does not have spaces between the paragraphs? I am blogger challenged. When I post with pictures, I don't put spaces between the paragraphs because somehow they automatically appear. The more pictures that I upload the more spaces there will be. So, I've gotten into a habit of not putting spaces and look at what happened. Goodness gracious.

Moving along. Look at these precious little booties. I was supposed to post pictures yesterday but, we shopped till we 'bout dropped yesterday. What great fun it was!

I told the buyer of this little set that I would send a free gift. She hasn't returned the capri pants to me yet, but, I will send them back to her with her gift. If she doesn't read this blog, she will be surprised because I never said what it would be.

Well, it's lunch time. Have a wonderful weekend!
